Dominic Matei is an aging professor of linguistics who finds his youth miraculously restored after surviving a cataclysmic event. Dominic's physical rejuvenation and apparent immortality is matched by a highly evolved intellect, which attracts the attention of Nazi scientists, forcing him into exile. When his research threatens Laura's health, Dominic is forced to choose between his life’s work and the great love of his life.
Tim Roth Talks About "Youth Without Youth"
Tim Roth credits director Francis Ford Coppola with helping him care about acting again. “I was really bored, but I think that’s an age thing. I was done with it. I found that directing is a much more interesting job, but it doesn’t pay, unless you want to do action movies or whatever. So I think I had reached the point where I had enough."
