June 18, 2007 - The cast of Ben Stiller's Tropic Thunder* has just grown by two. Stiller's frequent collaborator Owen Wilson has signed onto the comedy along with Oscar nominee Nick Nolte.
Filming is expected to begin next month on the comedy which marks Stiller's first directorial project since the 2001 film, Zoolander. Tropic Thunder follows a group of actors who are all set to star in a war movie only to discover life is about to imitate art.
Jay Baruchel, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr, Bill Hader, and Steve Coogan already are set to play roles in Tropic Thunder. Stiller wrote the screenplay with Justin Theroux and Etan Cohen and also plans on starring in the movie.
