"You, Me and Dupree" was written by Mike LeSieur and will be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo ("Welcome to Collinwood"). According to The Hollywood Reporter, "You, Me and Dupree" revolves around a newly married couple (Hudson and Dillon) who experiences problems with their relationship after the groom's best man (Wilson) moves in with them.
Wilson, Scott Stuber and Mary Parent will produce the film, which is scheduled to begin filming later this year.
Wilson just scored success with "The Wedding Crashers" and has "The Wendell Baker Story" in the wings. Kate Hudson will next be seen in "The Skeleton Key" with Peter Sarsgaard.
