"Welcome to Mooseport" (2004)
A former U.S. president (Gene Hackman) whose plan to retire in a small Northeastern coastal town goes awry when he tries to fill an empty mayoral seat. His opposition is a seemingly unassuming hardware store owner (Ray Romano) who quickly proves to be a wildly popular candidate.
