Paul Walker Heads Off to "Antarctica"

(Jan 25, 2005) Paul Walker is heading to Antarctica - or at least the movie version. Walker's set to star in "Antarctica" for director Frank Marshall and Disney. David Hoberman is producing with Todd Lieberman, Roy Lee, Christine Iso and Masaru Kakutani serving as executive producers.

The movie follows the true story of two adventurers who try to track down a meteorite in Antarctica. The pair are forced to call off their search and leave their sled dogs behind. According to Variety, Walker will play a National Geographic reporter who retraces his steps with a rescue team.

Canada will be doubling for Antarctica, with filming set to start this coming winter.

Walker will next be seen in John Stockwell's "Into the Blue" with Jessica Alba and Scott Caan.
