The studio brought in a new director, Michael Apted, who approached "Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" with fresh eyes. (Nov 2010) Five-time Grammy winner and the voice behind 13 #1 singles, Carrie Underwood, is now also a part of the third "Narnia" film, "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader." Underwood co-wrote and recorded "There's a Place for Us," which will be used as the film's end title song.

No More "Narnia" for Disney
(Dec 2008) The timing's definitely not ideal but the news isn't that much of a surprise. Disney has decided not to be involved in producing the third movie of the "Narnia" franchise - "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" - which is currently in the pre-production stage.

(June 2007) "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" and "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" director Andrew Adamson won't be tackling the third film of the series. Instead current president of the Directors Guild of America Michael Apted will helm the third "Narnia" movie.
