Pre-release ticket sales have been brisk for "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" and critics who've somehow managed to sneak their reviews out early (most of us have to hold off until the day before the film's released) have been overwhelmingly positive. But who are we trying to kid? It's not as if "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" needs good reviews in order to sell tickets. J K Rowling's fanbase guarantees "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" will be a box office success (like its predecessors), which is a good thing for theater owners and movie studios alike. If all the tickets to see the kid wizard are sold out, chances are moviegoers will settle for checking out their next choice instead of turning around and going home. That trickle down effect is good news all around in a year when ticket sales have been less than spectacular.
This fourth outing with the students at Hogwarts finds our heroes going through the pain of growing into teenagers and finding dates for a dance. Harry also faces the challenges of the Triwizard Tournament and comes face to face with the evil Lord Voldemort.
