This animated penguin surfing movie takes a different approach to storytelling, which should help set it apart from other penguin movies - and from most animated films. Surf's Up takes a documentary-style approach, interviewing penguins and other assorted creatures (including a chicken voiced by Napoleon Dynamite star Jon Heder), while following the film's hero, Cody Maverick (voiced by Shia LaBeouf), as he takes on the world of professional surfing.
