Ferrell slides into the driver's seat as racing sensation Ricky Bobby, a hero on the circuit and a guy who lives to win. John C Reilly co-stars as Ricky Bobby's racing partner and long-time friend, Cal Naughton Jr. Ricky Bobby and Cal always finish 1st and 2nd in races (with Ricky Bobby in 1st, of course) but their control of the racing circuit is in jeopardy when a French Formula One driver (played by Sacha Baron Cohen) enters the scene with his eye on the title of NASCAR's best driver.
