Samuel L Jackson fought with the studio when it was suggested the title of Snakes on a Plane be changed. In fact when The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Jackson was set to star in the film for New Line Cinema, THR listed the title of the thriller as Pacific Air Flight 121. Now which film would you pay money to see? The 'we're not taking this seriously, it's all just campy fun' Snakes on a Plane or the terribly boring and terribly sedate Pacific Air Flight 121?
