Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz star Simon Pegg handles the lead role in this comedy movie based on Toby Young's memoir. For those unfamiliar with Young's background, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People details his time spent working for editor Graydon Carter on Vanity Fair. The British-born Young just never fit in with the New York crowd. Offensive, socially inept, and with a desire to be something he's not, Young didn't exactly take New York by storm. But his attempts provide the fodder for what, hopefully, will be a laugh-out-loud film.
