Music and Lyrics pairs up two romantic comedy veterans - Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant - for a little light-hearted love story set to hit theaters, appropriately enough, on Valentine's Day 2007. Grant, who has threatened more than once to quit acting, stars as a washed-up 80s pop star named Alex Fletcher. Now part of the nostalgia circuit and forced to work lower-paying gigs, Alex is given a shot at a comeback when diva Cora Corman wants to record a song with has-been Alex, provided he write the music and lyrics.
