Judging by the spring, summer and fall movies, 2006 won't be remembered as one of the finest years in the history of cinema. But fortunately for audiences, there's a ray of hope shining through the wintery clouds. When the weather turns chilly, the studios play nice by serving up some of the year's most anticipated films.
Winter's the time of year movie studios pull out the last of their big guns - the films they believe may be up for awards come Oscar time. Here's hoping somewhere in this batch of 10 winter movies there's a film that will make each of us remember why in spite of the high prices, ringing cell phones, and noisy patrons, we still love spending time in movie theaters.
