Kevin Durand, Christian Bale and Peter Fonda in 3:10 to Yuma.
The Western genre is alive and kicking. Not only has there been a rebirth of Westerns on television, but now the genre which used to be a fan favorite is making a comeback on the big screen thanks to 3:10 to Yuma. Director James Mangold smartly chose to cast two powerhouse actors - Russell Crowe and Christian Bale - as adversaries in the film, their casting bringing a legitimacy to the project as well as an intensity necessary to pull off a Western colored in shades of grey. That's right. The line between good and evil is blurred and that makes for a very provocative moviegoing experience.Russell Crowe and Christian Bale Team Up to Talk 3:10 to Yuma
