First Look Pictures has closed a deal to release the movie version of Adult Swim's Aqua Teen Hunger Force in theaters. First Look is aiming for a March 2007 release of the animated film which was written, produced and directed by Matt Maiellaro and Dave Willis (the co-creators of the series).
The film will follow the adventures of Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad (better known as Aqua Teen Hunger Force) as they attempt to save the universe from a piece of exercise equipment.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force began airing on Adult Swim back in September 2001. Members of the show's voice cast as well as Maiellaro and Willis will be providing the voices for the feature film.
