Nicole Kidman and Seven Others Injured on the Set of "The Invasion"

Jan 26, 2007 - Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman (The Hours) was injured on the set of Warner Bros Pictures' sci-fi thriller, The Invasion. Kidman and a crew from The Invasion were filming a scene in which Kidman was trying to knock zombie-like creatures off of her car. The Jaguar Kidman was traveling in was being towed behind a camera truck driven by a stunt person through the streets of downtown Los Angeles. The vehicles rounded a corner and Kidman's car hit a light pole.

According to LAPD, Kidman and seven others were injured in the stunt. None of the injuries were major and Kidman was able to return to work after a few hours of rest.

Kidman stars in The Invasion as a Washington D C psychiatrist who discovers that the cause of a mysterious epidemic that alters the behavior of humans is extraterrestrial. The film also features Daniel Craig and Jeremy Northam.
