Guide Review - "The Pacifier" DVD Review
After failing to protect an important scientist, US Navy Seal Shane Wolf (Diesel) is given his toughest assignment to date: he must protect the family of the slain scientist. Thats right, this Navy Seal pulls babysitting duty and hes not too happy about it. Not used to taking care of kids, Shanes out of place and ill-equipped to handle the job.
Babies dont pee on schedule, teenagers will more than likely do the opposite of what theyve been asked to do, and Shanes strict rules arent welcomed by a family thats used to being ruled over by a mom whos a push-over. Between enforcing a little discipline, ensuring the safety of the unruly kids, and developing a crush on the kids school principal (Lauren Graham) Wolf has his hands full.
"THE PACIFIER" DVD BONUS FEATURES:
All of the bonus features are too short. The two 'On the Set' featurettes are both under 4 minutes in length and are pretty generic, as is the blooper reel.
The saving grace of the extra features is the commentary track. Listening to Shankman and his writers discuss the movie is more entertaining than the movie itself.
