The Hunger Games Teaser Trailer
The first clip from Lionsgate Films' The Hunger Games debuted during the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, and although it does show Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, the clip doesn't really provide fans with a good look at the film version of Suzanne Collins' bestselling novel. It's definitely just a teaser clip, and barely gives away more than we've seen in the still photos released from the film.

The Hunger Games stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson, and will hit theaters on March 23, 2012.
The Plot:
A dystopic Capitol requires its twelve subjugated districts to pay tribute in the form of a teenage boy and girl who are forced to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV. When Katniss Everdeen’s little sister is chosen in the lottery, Katniss volunteers to take her place. Although persevering through hardship is commonplace for Katniss, she must start making choices that weigh survival against humanity and life against love in order to win the games and return home.
