Since Stephen Chow stepped down as director of The Green Hornet back in December 2008, there's been a lot of speculation over the status of the film, who will ultimately wind up in the director's seat, and Chow's attachment as Kato. According to The Hollywood Reporter, those questions have finally been answered.

Michel Gondry, the filmmaker who brought us Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Science of Sleep and Be Kind, Rewind, will likely be directing The Green Hornet movie which is still on track for a June 25, 2010 release. Though Chow left the directing job, he's still expected to play Kato, faithful sidekick of Britt Reid (played by Seth Rogen).

Rogen and Evan Goldberg wrote the script. Filming is expected to begin in the next few months.
