At the Hollywood Premiere of The Good German, George Clooney joked that the best way to handle the Sexiest Man Alive title while he's acting is to always remember to remove his sash prior to stepping in front of the camera. Good thing he took his own advice when he worked on The Good German. It would have been really difficult to believe Clooney as a U.S. war correspondent in 1945 Berlin if he'd torn through the streets of German with 'Sexiest Man Alive' sash in place.
