Guide Review - The Game Plan DVD Review
The StoryJoe Kingman's on the top of the sports world. He's the quarterback of a winning football team, he's handsome, and the ladies love him. Most of his teammates envy his playboy life. Yes, he's got the world on a string.
But Joe's carefree days as a swinging single guy with no responsibilities come to an abrupt end when a cutie-pie named Peyton (Madison Pettis) shows up on his doorstep declaring she's his daughter. The big tough QB never expected his greatest challenge to come off the gridiron...
The Bonus Features
I'm a fan of commentary tracks and unfortunately that's the one thing missing from The Game Plan's DVD. It's loaded with the usual material - deleted scenes, Making Of featurettes, and a gag reel - but it would have been interesting to hear The Rock and/or director Andy Fickman give a play-by-play in a commentary track. However, the bonus material that is included is fairly entertaining. In particular, the ESPN SportsCenter pieces are worth watching.
