The Departed Movie Synopsis: Set in South Boston, The Departed involves a young undercover officer (DiCaprio) who has been assigned to get inside the mob syndicate run by Costello (Jack Nicholson). He gains the mob boss' confidence while inside the police department, there's a similar operation going on involving a criminal (Damon) who has infiltrated the police department in order to supply information to the mob.
