Moon Bloodgood: "I would say there's a Kate and John Connor, and then there's a Marcus and Blaire. But when you say love story, you just start to go into the cheese factor."
Sam Worthington: "Yes, thats what it is. Were trying to change, tried to ramp it up and tried different things so its not your girl meets machine, falls in love, will you give me a kiss, see you later, come back and save me."
In these circumstances, any moment would be pretty much all you can count on.
Sam Worthington: "That right, mate, that's right. The movies about these people connecting to try and form bonds. So who do you trust? You can barely trust people in this world, let alone in a post-apocalyptic world."
Moon Bloodgood: "And Blair sort of uses her instincts like all women use their instincts, sort of just seeing that he has a heart and that he saved her life."
Sam Worthington: "And she's pretty good-looking, man, so its that hard."
Moon Bloodgood: "And she sort of sees the humanity in him. I have my own backstory that I talked to McG about, just about how a lot of men once the bombs dropped, it just didnt bring out the best in people and just how hes a rarity, and how some women can kind of spot that out in a man."
Sam Worthington: "McGs very good at taking out the cheese factor."
Moon Bloodgood: "He is. He really is. Yes, he cuts a lot of our lines."
Sam Worthington: "And if you look at the actors hes hired as well, like Christian [Bale]. There's no cheese."
