At the World Premiere of In Good Company, Quaid's young co-star, Topher Grace, admitted its a little embarrassing hanging out with Dennis Quaid and working with him on a film. When asked to explain what could possibly be embarrassing, Grace replied laughing, Hes like twice my age and hes twice as sexy. It doesnt make any sense, but hes the boss at all times.
Looking handsome, as always, Quaid revealed In Good Company is his first movie to premiere at Graumans Chinese Theater. Straight from the red carpet at Graumans, heres what Quaid had to say about In Good Company and his singing career:
INTERVIEW WITH DENNIS QUAID ('Dan'):
How would you describe In Good Company?
I just think its ordinary people in ordinary situations, and I just think it adds up to a big drama/comedy. You come in and you watch peoples misery and you laugh, because you recognize your own misery (laughing).
Did you enjoy playing a tough business man?
Well, this guys not really tough. Hes got one of those soft, creamie centers.
Tophers getting a lot of notice recently. How was it working with him on In Good Company?
Hes the greatest. Hes so talented.
Is it true this cast really bonded on the set?
Yeah, they all came out to my birthday. Topher [Grace] came out to Montana this summer. We bonded.
You were working on quite a few projects in a row. How do you handle moving quickly from one job to another?
Thats what is great about what I do, going from one job to the other. Theres no way that, like my character, theres no way that I could do a 9 to 5 job. Theres no way. I was not cut out for that. You come in and you work for three months on the one job. They say, Great, you know, and youre on to the next one - and you never even got fired. Its wonderful.
Hows your band? Are you still managing to keep up with your music while youve been busy with films?
We play all the time. We play once a week.
Why do you always play barefoot?
It makes me feel like Im in my living room. Thats all.
Whats the rock and roll lifestyle like?
We [play] here in town so I go home to my own bed.
Are you writing your own music?
Yeah, I always keep that up.

Marg Helgenberger's career is soaring with the success of the critically acclaimed TV series, "CSI." With the romantic comedy "In Good Company," Helgenberger takes a break from the dramatic for a little lighter fare.
INTERVIEW WITH MARG HELGENBERGER ('Ann'):
Did you have any funny moments on the set?
Oh gosh
I always get asked that question and its always so hard. Unless its like a practical joke, its usually just stuff that just kind of happens just naturally with personalities that develop. Because you know, a lot of times youre just thrown in, like Dennis [Quaid] and I were just thrown in to a 20 year marriage. But thats always funny. You hop into bed with somebody and there you are, you spend three days in bed with them. Theyre like, Hello, nice to meet you.
Do you have a preference between TV and films?
It all depends on the script and the group of people that you work with. And I think that most people would agree with that. Thats always the case because it could be a wonderful script but the people you work with are a drag. That wasnt the case on this at all.
What was your experience like working on this movie?
This was awesome. It was wonderful. Just wonderfully talented actors and an ensemble. Paul Weitz wrote the script and directed it, and he just really created a wonderful working environment for all of us. Its a movie that I think explores a lot of themes that people can relate to.
