Hilary Swank Joins the Cast of "The Black Dahlia"

Dec 20, 2004 - Hilary Swank ("Million Dollar Baby") has been tapped to star in "The Black Dahlia" for director Brian De Palma.

Based on the James Ellroy novel, "The Black Dahlia" follows the investigation of the horrible murder of Elizabeth Short. Swank will play a look-alike of the murder victim.

Already cast in "The Black Dahlia" are Scarlett Johansson and Josh Hartnett. Filming is expected to start in early April 2005. The movie will be produced by Art Linson, Moshe Diamant, Avi Lerner, and Rudy Cohen.
