"Not Another Teen Movie" and "Sleepover" co-star Sam Huntington has joined the cast of the upcoming "Superman" movie, to be directed by Bryan Singer ("X-Men").Sam Huntington will play Clark Kent's little buddy, Jimmy Olsen. Ex-soap opera actor Brandon Routh is set to play Kent/Superman with Kevin Spacey onboard as Lex Luthor. Kate Bosworth ("Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!") co-stars as Lois Lane.
Bryan Singer left the "X-Men" franchise to bring "Superman" to the screen. Singer took over the movie after lots of directors, including McG and Brett Ratner, left the project.
Jon Peters, Gilbert Adler and Singer are producing the movie. Filming is expected to start in early March 2005. Warner Bros. is hoping to release "Superman" in the summer of 2006.
