"Step Up 2 The Streets" (2008)
When rebellious street dancer Andie lands at the elite Maryland School of the Arts, she finds herself fighting to fit in while also trying to hold onto her old life. When she joins forces with the school’s hottest dancer Chase to form a crew of classmate outcasts to compete in Baltimore’s underground dance battle The Streets, she ultimately finds a way to live her dream while building a bridge between her two separate worlds.

Briana Evigan has been preparing for this role for basically the last decade. Evigan began her dance training at the age of 9 and at just 11 she took private classes from respected choreographer Shane Sparks. Dancing seems to come naturally for Briana, who makes her acting debut with this sequel to "Step Up."

Robert Hoffman Dances His Way Through "Step Up 2"
Robert Hoffman says he didn’t have any trouble relating to his character in "Step Up 2 The Streets." "Aside from the prep that you would do with any role, to just be able to play the circumstances accordingly, it was pretty easy to get engaged and enjoy being a privileged, confident, young, skilled dancer, and then let the relationship between me and Briana [Evigan] build," explained Hoffman.

In conjunction with the theatrical release of "Step Up 2 The Streets," the sequel to the 2006 box office hit "Step Up" starring Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, Atlantic Records has release the "Step Up 2 The Streets - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" on CD. The soundtrack, which hit stores on February 5th, features the chart-topping single "Low" by Flo Rida featuring T-Pain.
