"Stateside" (2004)
Mark lands in the Marine Corps where he's trained by a hard-biting Drill Instructor. When on leave, he meets and falls in love with the crazy young actress/pop singer, Dori. Based on true events, this is a story of love that overcomes precarious trials and earns, for the spirit of youth, a heartfelt victory.
"Stateside" Movie Review
Jonathan Tucker plays a spoiled rich kid, Rachael Leigh Cook plays a mentally disturbed singer, and Val Kilmer is a drill sergeant. Does it all add up to a worthwhile movie? Check out this review for more info on the dramatic romance, based on a true story.
