Ginnifer Goodwin Something Borrowed Interview Video

Ginnifer Goodwin, who just finished up the last season of Big Love, stars in Something Borrowed as a lawyer who went all the way through law school and never got up the courage to admit her secret crush on one of her fellow students. Now that he's about to marry her best friend (played by Kate Hudson), it's almost too late to come clean.

At the world premiere of the Warner Bros Pictures romantic comedy, Goodwin admitted that while she's not supposed to judge her characters, she couldn't help but do so with 'Rachel'. Goodwin also talked about why this romantic comedy is different than others of its genre - and if there's anything in it for men - while on the blue carpet set up in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

Something Borrowed stars Kate Hudson, Ginnifer Goodwin, Colin Egglesfield, John Krasinski, and Ashley Williams, and is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2011.

Something Borrowed Plot:

Rachel (Goodwin) is a talented attorney at a top New York law firm, a generous and loyal friend and, unhappily, still single...as her engaged best friend Darcy (Hudson) is constantly reminding her. But after one drink too many at her 30th birthday party, perpetual good girl Rachel unexpectedly ends up in bed with the guy she’s had a crush on since law school, Dex (Egglesfield), who just happens to be Darcy’s fiancé. When Rachel and Darcy’s lifelong friendship collides with true love, it leads to unexpected complications and potentially explosive romantic revelations. Meanwhile, Ethan (Krasinski), who has been Rachel’s constant confidante and sometimes conscience, has been harboring a secret of his own, and Marcus (Steve Howey), an irrepressible womanizer, can’t keep his mind out of the gutter or his hands off any girl within reach.
