Feb 22, 2007 - The director of Saw II and Saw III, Darren Lynn Bousman, is returning for the fourth film of the franchise: Saw IV. After the box office success of the other three Saw movies, a fourth film was almost guaranteed.
Lionsgate has set the release date of the fourth Saw movie to be October 26, in keeping with the release dates of the first three Saw movies. There's no word yet on the storyline of Saw IV which will begin shooting in April.
