They played a dysfunctional married couple in the steamy drama, Closer. Now Clive Owen and Julia Roberts are set to rekindle their onscreen relationship in Duplicity for writer/director Tony Gilroy.
Gilroy earned rave reviews for his rookie directorial effort, Michael Clayton, which explored the world of big corporations. Duplicity will feature Owen and Roberts as lovers working as spies for opposing companies. Jennifer Fox and Laura Bickford will produce the film.
Owen is currently at work on The International for director Tom Tykwer. Roberts will soon be seen in Charlie Wilson's War opposite Tom Hanks.
