Rob Cavallo (Goo Goo Dolls, Green Day producer) produced the soundtrack, which features performances by members of the original Broadway cast who've made the transition to the film version of the hit stage musical. As one of the few newcomers to the "Rent" cast, Rosario Dawson - better known for tackling dramatic roles - shows she's up to the challenge of singing and dancing her way through a musical.
