The Bottom Line

Reno 911! Miami does a great job of capturing the tone of the TV series that spawned the movie. With the entire TV cast along for the ride, Reno 911! Miami pushes the group's antics much further than they're allowed to go on the television show to mostly hilarious results.

Guide Review - Reno 911! Miami Unrated DVD Review

The Story

The Reno Sheriff's Department hits the road for Miami to take part in a law enforcement convention. Dressed in the most bizarre assortment of 'civilian' clothes ever sported by off-duty officers, the gang of bumbling officers arrives in South Beach only to discover they're not registered for the event. But thanks to that error, the Reno squad is the only police force not quarantined in a luxury hotel. That means that not only will they have to patrol the streets of Miami, they'll also have to try and figure out how to save their comrades-in-arms holed up inside the hotel with time running out.

The Bonus Features

The Reno 911! Miami Unrated DVD includes not one, not two, but three commentary tracks, each one entertaining and each one deserving of a listen. The DVD is also loaded with lengthy extended scenes and some truly hilarious public service announcements that I'd personally like to see on TV - uncensored.
