Why is it that Hollywood can't leave a good thing alone? If it worked once, they want to do it again and again and again ad nauseam. In 2005, Hollywood couldn't get enough of remaking classics and creating sequels and prequels, in some cases for no other reason than to cash in on an established name.
Remakes We Could Have Done Without:
"The Fog" - This remake left us in one.
"Yours, Mine, and Ours" - Cute but pointless.
"The Amityville Horror" - A remake that's not really based on the original film or the book.
"The Honeymooners" - Technically not a remake but a 'reinvisioning'. Whatever.
"Fun with Dick and Jane" - Was the original really worthy of a remake?
The Top Reasons We Need to Find a Cure for Prequel and Sequelitis:
"Son of the Mask"
"Cheaper by the Dozen 2"
"Deuce Bigalow European Gigolo"
"Exorcist: The Beginning"
