"Racing Stripes" is the tale of a baby zebra named Stripes (voiced by Frankie Muniz), who is raised by horse trainer Nolan Walsh (Bruce Greenwood) and his young daughter Channing (Hayden Panettiere) on their Kentucky farm. Stripes becomes part of an eclectic barnyard family, led by grumpy Shetland pony Tucker (voiced by Dustin Hoffman) and Franny (voiced by Whoopi Goldberg), a sharp-tongued but loving nanny goat. Stripes and Channing both dream of racing in the prestigious Kentucky Open Stripes knows that if he can just get onto the track, he will leave all the other horses in the dust. What he doesnt know is hes not exactly a horse. Stripes makes some friends down at the track as well, most notably the manic horsefly duo Buzz (voiced by Steve Harvey) and Scuzz (voiced by David Spade), whose love of song and dance is eclipsed only by their love of hot dogs and horse poop.
As Stripes thrusts himself into a world of elite athletes, intense competition and enormous stakes, he must prove hes fast enough and tough enough to run with the big horses if he wants to land in the winners circle at the Kentucky Open. Some champions are born, not bred!
The films voice cast also features Mandy Moore, Michael Clarke Duncan, Jeff Foxworthy, Joshua Jackson, Joe Pantoliano, Michael Rosenbaum, Snoop Dogg and Fred Dalton Thompson.

The film has been rated PG by the Motion Picture Association of America for mild crude humor and some language.
