Brad Pitt's publicist confirmed the pregnancy rumor to the media but declined to discuss any specifics. People magazine got the scoop when Jolie admitted the pregnancy to a charity aid worker. The magazine is also running photos of Jolie with a tummy bulge.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have kept their relationship private, declining to discuss their personal lives in interviews with the press. With a baby due this summer, Pitt and Jolie are no longer able to keep their private lives secret.
The baby will be Brad Pitt's first child and Angelina Jolie's first biological baby. Jolie has two adopted children, Maddox, 4, and Zahara, 1. Last month Pitt started the necessary paperwork to adopt Maddox and Zahara, requesting their names be changed to Jolie-Pitt.
Jolie and Pitt met will working on the action/romance, "Mr and Mrs Smith." Pitt is recently divorced from "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston. Jolie was married to Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller.
There's no word yet on whether Pitt and Jolie plan to marry.
