Sam Claflin gets a fast start on building up a fan base by starring opposite Johnny Depp in the fourth Pirates film, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. When Claflin got the call saying he had a shot at auditioning for On Stranger Tides, he'd just graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. A starring role as a young missionary named Philip who gets mixed up with Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) has put him on the radar of Hollywood filmmakers, and he'll next be seen in Snow White and the Huntsman with Twilight's Kristen Stewart. At the world premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Claflin talked about being on a Pirates set, working with Johnny Depp, and nabbing the role Snow White and the Huntsman.
