The Bottom Line

It's possible - though not likely - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End will be the final chapter in the Pirates movies. If so, the effects geniuses involved in the third Pirates film went all out on this one. Loaded with creepy creatures and interesting visual effects, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End packs quite the visual punch.

Guide Review - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End 2-Disc Limited Edition DVD Review

The Story
Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) and Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) team up to rescue Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) from Davy Jones' locker. But Captain Jack has his own best interests at heart - as always - and is convinced he needs to get to the end of the world. Meanwhile, Davy Jones (Bill Nighy) is working with the East India Trading Company, wreaking havoc and getting the Pirates Lords (including Keith Richards) all worked up.

The Bonus Features
Set aside at least a couple of hours to watch the bonus material. Although it lacks a commentary track (come on - someone must have wanted to talk about this film!), the rest of the extra features go beyond the average promotional material.
