Twilight star Robert Pattinson will receive the New Hollywood Award at the 12th Annual Hollywood Film Festival and Hollywood Awards' Gala Ceremony to be held October 27, 2008 in Beverly Hills. Pattinson's one of Hollywood's hottest young actors, with pretty much every move he makes being extensively chronicled on internet fansites. Pattinson plays the role of Edward Cullen, one of the hunkiest men/vampires on the planet, in the big screen version of Stephenie Meyer's best-selling book, Twilight, which hits theaters on November 21st.
The Hollywood Film Festival is also honoring Ben Stiller with the Hollywood Comedy of the Year Award, Marisa Tomei with Hollywood Supporting Actress of the Year Award, and the cast of The Secret Life of Bees with the Hollywood Ensemble Acting of the Year Award.
