Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest addition to the cast of the Truman Capote biopic, "Every Word is True." According to
Variety, "Every Word is True" was written by and will be directed by Doug McGrath. McGrath's script is an adaptation of George Plimpton's "Truman Capote: In Which Various Friends, Enemies, Acquaintances and Detractors Recall His Turbulent Career."
Paltrow will portray singer Peggy Lee. Also cast are Mark Wahlberg as "In Cold Blood" killer Perry Smith, Sandra Bullock as Harper Lee, and Sigourney Weaver as one of Capote's socialite friends.
Production on the Warner Independent Pictures project is set to begin on January 1, 2005.
