According to Variety, "Inside Man" follows a police officer (played by Denzel Washington) who goes up against a clever bank robber (Clive Owen) who's in the process of trying to pull off the perfect heist.
Brian Grazer is producing the film, with production expected to begin this summer. "Inside Man" is the fourth time Denzel Washington and Spike Lee have worked together ("Mo' Better Blues," "Malcolm X," and "He Got Game").
Clive Owen will next be seen in "Derailed" with Vincent Cassel and Jennifer Aniston. Jodie Foster recently completed filming "Flightplan," a dramatic thriller about a child who vanishes in an airplane at 30,000.
