Sep 28, 2008 - Miramax Films has obtained the rights to the film The Boys are Back according to The Hollywood Reporter. Scott Hicks (No Reservations) will be directing the film which was adapted by Allan Cubitt from the novel by Simon Carr.
Clive Owen's set to star as a widower tasked with raising his two sons on his own. Filming just got underway in Australia.
Owen will next be seen in the thriller The International which is set to hit theaters next February. He recently completed work on Duplicity with Julia Roberts and Paul Giamatti. Giamatti and Owen previously worked together on the action comedy Shoot 'Em Up.
