The Bonus Features
There are two different commentary tracks included on the DVD and both are worth a listen. The first features Carney, Hansard and Irglova discussing how the film came to be and providing some pretty interesting behind-the-scenes info on specific scenes. The second focuses exclusively on the music from the movie with details on the songs included in the final cut.
The Once DVD also includes a Making Of featurette titled 'Making a Modern Day Musical' and 'more guy, more girl' with Carney describing how the feature film evolved from a very simple one sentence storyline. There's also a webisode of the song 'Broken Hearted Hoover Fixer Sucker Guy' illustrated with pencil drawings.
