Casey Affleck and Scott Caan return in their roles as brothers Virgil and Turk Malloy in the "Ocean's 11" follow-up, "Ocean's 12."

Catching up with Casey Affleck at the Black Tie Premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures' "Ocean's 12" directed by Steven Soderbergh, I got Affleck to share a little insight into life on the set of the sequel to the 2001 smash hit:

INTERVIEW WITH CASEY AFFLECK ('Virgil'):

What was it like being back with the gang for this sequel?
It was a lot of fun. It’s like the second year of summer camp or something. You go back and you already know who is your best friend and where you want to bunk, and when you can sneak away and have a cigarette. It’s just great.

Did you immediately get back into character? Did it take a while to find ‘Virgil’ again?
It wasn’t that hard, you know what I mean? It wasn’t that hard. I think I slipped right back into it. I haven’t seen the movie yet – maybe I’m terrible so I shouldn’t really speak to it (laughing).

How does your character change from the first movie?
The first movie was mostly about George [Clooney] and Julia [Roberts]. This one is mostly about me and Catherine [Zeta-Jones] and our love story and our whole history. So it’s a very different movie…

Was Brad Pitt involved in that storyline at all?
(Answering with tongue planted firmly in cheek) Not really. Not so much.

What’s your strangest memory from the set of "Ocean's 12?"
I once came out of the hotel and Brad Pitt was in front of me. There were all these fans out there and he walked out. I knew they were going to yell or something, but then they all just dropped down and died on the ground. Like 400 girls just simultaneously fell on the ground and died.

Will there be an “Ocean’s 13?”
I think that’s unlucky. It’ll probably be “Ocean’s 14.” We’ll skip right to “14” like an elevator.

And you just finished working on a film with Steve Buscemi?
Yeah, he just directed it. It’s called “Lonesome Jim” and it’s myself and Liv Tyler. Steve Buscemi directed it. It should come out next year sometime. It’s a romantic comedy.
