Guide Review - "Finding Neverland" DVD Review
The film joins playwright Barrie after the opening of one of his least successful plays. Looking for inspiration, Barrie has a fortuitous meeting in the park with a beautiful widow, Sylvia Llewelyn Davies (Winslet), and her four young sons. Observing the boys at play, Barrie quickly becomes absorbed in their world. His imagination working overtime, Barrie soon joins the boys and their lovely mother on a daily basis, falling in love with the family to the detriment of his own marriage. Entering the magical world of childhood with the help of the Davies boys, Barrie's inspired to write the story of the boy who doesn't to grow up, "Peter Pan."
