"National Treasure") previously starred in Sidney
Lumets Thought Crimes opposite Maggie Gyllenhaal and Glenn
Close for HBO Films. The film follows three intertwined stories,
each exploring crime and punishment in the wake of the September
11th attacks. Thought Crimes was written by Tom Fontana and
was produced by Fontana and Barry Levinson. Justin also garnered
critical acclaim for his portrayal of the psychologically challenged
younger brother of a powerful federal prosecutor in Martin Brests
Gigli opposite Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.
As a filmmaker, Bartha wrote and directed a short film, Highs
and Lows, which premiered at the South By Southwest Film
Festival in March 2003. Additionally, he wrote, produced, and
starred in the MTV pilot, The Dustin and Justin Show, a satirical take on an entertainment magazine program, executive produced by Todd Phillips. Justin trained at New York
Universitys Meisner Extension and currently resides in New York.
