The role was really fun. I think the talent pool was really attractive. The writer/director was extremely attractive. So to work with those type of people brings your game up a little."
On Working with Writer/Director Gary David Goldberg: "He was very specific [with the script] and the thing about it was that there wasnt really anything I needed to do. It was just right. When we were on the set, he would change scenes here and there to make things better. Hes a genius. He really, really knows whats going on."
Victor Webster's Stance on Internet Dating: "I think it works for some people. It doesnt work for me so much," said Webster. Does that mean he's actually given it a try? Webster laughed, "No, no, no, no. Im a little scared to try it. Id be very afraid, to be honest with you.
Im really, really, really picky and its mostly about their personality. You cant tell someones personality when youre talking to them over the Internet or by punching in keys. You want to know how they respond, if they have a sense of humor. You get a sense of somebody by spending time with them.
Online, you can believe that theyre anybody. They may be like a 500 lb Samoan with a bunch of tattoos sitting on the other side saying hes an FHM cover model just to try and mess with you. Plus, I dont get on the computer that often once a week maybe."
On What Someone 'Must Love' to be in a Relationship With Him: "My dogs. They have to laugh if my jokes. Even if I have to pay them, they have to laugh at my jokes. No. I think they just have to love me for who I am. If you want to be in a relationship with someone, you have to be able to be yourself. I dont want to be acting. I want to be who I am."
Victor Webster on the Rick Hansen Movie: "Its about a great Canadian hero who went around the world in a wheelchair. It took him two years to do it and he really inspired a lot of the changes that we have in regards to the handicapped. Hes just an incredible person.
Its in the works right now. I would love to start tomorrow but you know this business. Well see what happens. It could be a week, it could be a couple of months. Hopefully sometime by the end of September. Its something that is a labor of love that we really, truly believe in thats going to get made. We just want to make sure that all of our ducks are in a row first."
