Lucy Liu and Cillian Murphy have signed on to star in Watching the Detectives, a romantic comedy to be directed by first time feature film director Paul Soter (Soter also wrote the script).Soter is part of the Broken Lizard comedy group and will be seen in front of the camera in Beerfest, which he wrote and produced.
Plum Pictures is producing Watching the Detectives which is expected to start filming this month in New York City. Peace Arch Entertainment is co-financing the film and will serve as worldwide distributor.
