Production is set to begin shortly on Oliver Stone's film chronicling the life of the 43rd President of the United States, George W Bush. With shooting expected to begin next month, the cast of the film is finally coming together. The latest member to be announced is Elizabeth Banks who'll take on the role of First Lady Laura Bush. One of 2007's busiest actors, Josh Brolin, has already committed to playing President Bush.
Stone's biopic on the life of President Bush was written by Stanley Weiser. W will be produced by Moritz Borman and Bill Block.
Banks recently completed work on a batch of films including Zack and Miri Make a Porno for director Kevin Smith, A Tale of Two Sisters co-starring Arielle Kebbel and Emily Browning, and Lovely, Still with Ellen Burstyn and Martin Landau.
