Sam Raimi will follow up the third "Spider-Man" movie with "The Wee Free Men," the movie version of Terry Pratchett's best-selling book.

Raimi will direct "The Wee Free Men" for Sony Pictures. Raimi, Josh Donen, Vince Gerardis, and Ralph Vicinanza will produce the movie. The studio has selected Pamela Pettler to adapt the book for the big screen.

Pratchett's book follows 9-year-old wannabe witch Tiffany Aching who unites with the Nac Mac Feegle (also known as the Wee Free Men) to free her brother from an evil fairy queen. Her brother has been captured and is being held by the queen and Tiffany and the Wee Free Men (6 inch tall blue men who like to fight and love to drink) must battle all sorts of creepy monsters in order to bring him home safely.
